Dec 13th status

ALL Books have been added.

The phone menu is complete and all books and chapter can be accessed through this menu easily on a phone. Useful tips”

Completed as of Dec. 27, 2019

  • Tapping directly on Old or New Testament takes you to a corresponding table of contents / index with buttons for every Book on a corresponding page. These pages in turn have buttons for each chapter of that Book.
  • Tapping directly on text within menu on Book takes you to the corresponding table of contents / index with buttons for every chapter on a corresponding page (Within NIV Bible)
  • However, tapping Next to txt opens up a sub menu (Either Books or Chapters as secondary sub menus) A chevron is displayed as a “Clue” that there is a sub-menu.
  • Your 2nd option is the search box at top of right sidebar (Present at all times on desktops) works great for either Book and a Chapter or specific text from verse. It is pushed to below the last verse when using your phone. You tend to get several results with the best/correct one at the top
  • A third way to navigate has been added as a table of contents / index with buttons for every verse on a corresponding page.
  • A fourth way has been added which is two simple buttons to move back or forward one chapter and another search bar for potential convenience.
  • KNOWN ISSUE
  • Currently the desktop and tablet views chop off the longer menus as it hits bottom of screen.

Dec. 9th status:

Most of Old Testament except Psalms and Proverbs complete.

An accidental empty default primary menu setting produces the current menu which works amazing on a phone. However it takes up to much screen on Desktop/Laptop??? This could be resolved by setting some parameters that are “Triggered” at different screen resolutions.

Note Chapters 2-7 have a wider column then the 1st and all others (in all books). The “Extra space” shows a picture and a quote which could be comments by Bobby I am thinking??

On the right sidebar there is a search box which should search all text and headings. Under it is a box which with links to the last few comments and under that is links to the last few replies (The # is easily changed). This would be everyone besides Bobby?? If you go to the “Blog-Posts” page which I had not really considered until last day or two a quick tutorial on the Editor is available and “Stuck” to the top of posts.

At the bottom of the page is two navigation buttons to move froward or back on chapter (Only done in Genesis 12-9) All others have just a search box right now.

It is these blog posts that mimic the facebook/social media interaction

Besides the search capabilities being developed the main menu has Old and New testament links to each Book. Again only Genesis is close to done and if you click it you get a matrix like set of buttons that can be clicked to navigate to the desired chapter without any typing – nice on phones and tablets in particular…
